Shop Tour @ Denver Center for the Performing Arts

Fellow Guild Members,

Ever want to see what takes place behind the curtain and learn how props and scene displays are made for big theatrical productions?

This is a one-time opportunity to see the commercial woodworking shop at the Denver Center For the Performing Arts. We will be meeting at the admin entrance on 13th street. You may be able to find parking on the street on Saturday morning. Otherwise, park in the DCPA parking garage.

This is a tour of the facility led by Jeff Gifford and, as noted above, we will all entering together at 9:30 AM. Jeff believes that he can convince one of his co-workers to assist him which means that he will be able to accommodate 30 of us. If not, this tour will be limited to the first 16 members who sign up.

PLEASE NOTE: Unlike other shop tours hosted by our members, this is a commercial shop, and to avoid interrupting their employees actively engaged in production and project builds, PLEASE ARRIVE AT THE STATED TIME, so that we can enter as a group.
