  • July 18, 2017 - We're doing something new for the July Meeting. Rather than a presentation, there will be several workbenches set up around the meeting room. At each we'll have one or more ways to sharpen chisels or plane irons. Bring a chisel/iron and we'll work on it with you.

  • August 15, 2017 - Member Doug Wilson will give us a presentation on one of his passions, One Seed Juniper.

  • September 19, 2017 - Member Jerry Madigan makes bamboo fly fishing rods. I went to see the shop where he makes these. Pretty amazing. He has agreed to do a presentation on how he makes these. Its a pretty involved process and much of his equipment could not be moved to Rockler's basement for the presentation. So, some of the presentation will be video some of it will be live. We'll be working on this in July/August. In the mean time you might want to check out Jerry's web site. Click this link to do so.

  • September 29-30, 2017 - Member Doug Pinney is hosting a CNC Seminar. If you attend the member meeting you have seen many examples of Doug's CNC work entered in Show & Tell. The seminar is not free but you might be interested. You can click on the image below to see it full screen

  • October 17, 2017 - Marc Spagnuolo, The Wood Whisperer has agreed to give the October presentation. The subject matter has not yet been set but I'm sure it will be interesting. For more about Marc click this link.

  • November 21, 2017 - No presentation has been arranged for this meeting yet. However, this is the meeting when we traditionally vote in a new board.

  • December  9, 2017 - Our annual Holiday Party is at Cloverdale Church (same place as last year)  5705 West Louisiana Avenue Lakewood, CO 80232. Click here for a map. Come to the party for good food. Bring a White Elephant gift and join in the fun. If you don't know what a White Elephant Gift Exchange is click here. Pretty much anything can be a White Elephant gift. Members often bring a wood working related item but that is not necessary.
